My Super Ball Poem
What can I say?, I was not even there,
But I had a good reason and that I will share.
Its nothing to exciting or overly cool,
It simply responsibilities of a working, family phool.
I had the resources, the tent and the dough,
Just with my job, a wife and 2 kids, couldn’t get to the show.
I love me some Phish, but being a little older in age,
Life gets in the way and I sometimes have to miss Page.
Not too upset, as I hit a few shows this summer,
But unable to attend the Ball and my first fest, was truly a bummer.
I was fortunate and did go to PNC 2,
Loved the No Quarter and dug the Jiboo.
Also went up over the border to see the boys in Mass,
And I’ll admit, even bought the poster of the Jackass.
Sad I missed the camping and the Storage Jam,
And hanging with .NET, cooking up breakfast with eggs and ham.
But thanks to Live phish, I was able to be there,
And dance around my house, with not even a care.
The streamed worked great and loved hearing the crew,
I settled for that…..its all I could do!
