PHISHING POLL THURSDAY #2

Thanks to our community for the response and feedback to last week's inaugural "Best Jams of Summer" poll. Predictably, it was a cakewalk for the Tahoe "Tweezer," with the PNC "Crosseyed" and the Hollywood "Hood" placing and showing.

But hey, we were the real winners. In fact, we had so much damn fun we decided to do it again.

This time, since we're doing some fine tuning with Clark and team at Ranker, we thought we'd keep it light. As it happened, we recently got our hands on the lot vendor roster for Dick's, and suffice it to say you may wish to... eat before arriving...

LEAST Appetizing Phish Lot Food Ideas

To add your own suggestions for the worst food ideas on Phish lot, simply click through to the Ranker website (using the link above) and add a new item at the bottom of the list!

If you liked this blog post, one way you could "like" it is to make a donation to The Mockingbird Foundation, the sponsor of Phish.net. Support music education for children, and you just might change the world.

Poizon45 Next weeks topic should be favorite year, of 5 to choose from in order or not, and why in two sentences or less, and not ridiculously long run on sentences, like this one.
, comment by goatsticks
goatsticks this is really, really stupid. What a waste of something that was really fun last week.

Here's hoping you get this back on the trolley next week.

FACTSAREUSELESS I must inquire phandom, can you still have fun?

User_25940_ I totally get it. You tried to introduce a completely different kind of poll, one that wasn't directly about the band or music in general, but only to show that we can and will have a lot of fun doing this poll thing every week. Great idea, but bad execution on this. It panders to the lowest common denominator, which ignores that for the most part, every active participant on this site is pretty intelligent, and would prefer to be challenged than, I don't know, whatever this is. My vote goes to poo though...poo is bad.

The bar for success is so high. But fret not! Next week will be "most impactful changes in Phish time signatures while in a minor key"

Ravinus You said pole.

bertoletdown I appreciate those of you who appear to understand the experimental nature of this new content and the fact that we're trying to get our arms around its range, even if you didn't enjoy this one a bit. I think we're starting to understand that the tool is best used for asking meaty and thoughtful questions about the band and its music. That might seem like an assumption, but we wanted to test it, and we're glad we did.

Boy, next December .net fund drive is going to work on getting you some music theory lessons. We will do more than just buy you a book, we will hire a tutor to explain it too.

I would have said that *beer* is delicious when it is washing down rocky mountain oysters. In my experience, the deep fryer grease is the best thing about them.

kipmat BTW, here's hoping that Trey and Page change "lump block clod" to "bath salt cod" during Fluffhead at Dick's this weekend. :)

Strictly as a one-off, I'll allow this. ;-)
