PHISH 2014 FALL TOUR ANNOUNCED

There’s a reason Phish’s Summer trek only takes the band as far west as Commerce City, CO (where Phish will wrap things up with a trio of Labor Day weekend shows). The band will kick off a 12-date Fall tour that will take them to seven cities in the west beginning October 17 with its first-ever show at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, OR. Phish will play two consecutive nights at Santa Barbara Bowl (October 21 & 22), a venue Phish first played as openers for Santana in 1992, and its first show at Los Angeles’ Forum since Valentine’s Day 2003. The tour will conclude with Phish’s first shows at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The three-night stand begins on Halloween night.

An online ticket request period for the Fall Tour is currently underway at http://tickets.phish.com/ and will end Sunday, August 3 at midnight ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning August 7. For complete ticketing details, please visit phish.com/tours.

elfinito Hmm -- interesting. Halloween is the same price, and no mention of a 3rd set. Perhaps, just a straight 2-set Halloween show.

That was to be expected for the fall tour. But have no fear, they'll most likely return to east for holiday run. I'd also love to see the return of a Thanksgiving / early December (winter) run.

Umm..pretty sure they just gave the East Coast a ton of love. Don't be greedy....we out here in the West deserve a Fall Tour, our first one ever.

Ignore me -- NO they did not charge more in AC last year. They also did not really make an official announcement that it would be 3 sets.

My theory was based on false assumptions.

Matty1222 Are they doing NYE at MSG this year or has that been axed?

theresoundingecho Vegas for Halloween?? Looks like I need to quit my job. I heard they were coming to Milwaukee for NYE (I totally made that up, but I hope I did plant a seed).

HenryHolland The Gorge in October? Um, no, I don't wanna Drown, in cold water. /Who quote

Dear people buying tickets:

Spend all your money on the San Francisco and Las Vegas shows, there's really no reason to go to the Santa Barbara shows. Honest.

Love

:-)

Really looking forward to the Forum show, the place has gotten great reviews since it was renovated and re-opened.

Now if they'd only play The Curtain (With).......

I got it! Indeed not able to understand others not picking up on it. They must be ashamed of themselves and need to go back to school and retake "Reading In Between The Lines 101"

Forbin rules!

elephantus My dreams and hopeful prediction came true of 2 nights at the SB Bowl! We haven't had Phish nearby since Ventura 98, and I've been pushing Nederlander to book the boys at the Bowl for years! Stoked it actually happened... I've toured all over the world with rock bands and seen shows in many countries, and the SB Bowl is in my top few venues globally. At 4,500 capacity, this intimate venue is going to provide the fans and band an amazing two nights on the American Riviera. Us Santa Barbara folks are truly blessed!

PS - My company runs all digital marketing for the Bowl and I was proud having my staff enter the Phish content on the site yesterday: https://sbbowl.com/concerts/detail/phish

Think there's no reason to come to Santa Barbara? You'll be quite disappointed to miss out on these gigs.... talk to any artist who plays at the Bowl about how magical of a location this is, and you'll quickly change your mind.

I am pretty sure he was being Sarcastic and using the Jedi mind-trick -- "This is not the show you are looking for" -- Santa Barbara is the show he wants -- and he was being funny, telling others to stay away, so he can get his tickets.

No doubt Mule, not to mention the venue they've chosen in the Midwest is one of the worst venues I've ever been to. Fall tour Minneapolis> Madison > Chicago > STL would be OUTSTANDING!!!
