I thought these shows sounded great, especially listening to an AUD recording. The playing was solid, bordering on great at times. What no one has mentioned is the tone of Trey's axe. Light years better than that wimpy sound from 09 and 10. The sound is deeper, rich, muscular? It has that late 98 and 99 sound which makes a huge difference to these ears. This band is moving in a direction I think were all going to love this summer.
