Thanks for a nice write up. They certainly crossed the line a lot in 1994. And I find myself listening to that year more than any other. But more so than the unknown and jarring, I just can't get over the musicianship. It's one thing to jam the hell outta a song, but when you can come back down to earth and nail a straight forward version of a technical with energy, the band is unmatched. I love feel good 3.0 Phish, but thank god I have headphones and live phish to fulfill that void.
