tubescreamer Felt relieved and very excited when I saw you would be reviewing this documentary, @waxbanks. Years ago your show reviews elevated what I thought was possible about describing a phish show in words. I have missed seeing your contributions in recent years. I felt you articulated the humanness that this documentary laid bare for us in all the realness; pregnant pauses and awkward glances. That moment Trey almost pleadingly asked his daughter to assure him that he didn't miss much--and that look she gave him back--Gut-wrenching. But how courageous of him to want to go to the most important in his family and ask them the questions that many families avoid in private, let alone for all to see. I remember Trey saying years ago that Sue calls him "the great communicator." This is certainly evident in his music, but here we see him as no virtuoso, just a man deeply dedicated to the practice of improving.
