The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

This was an average Suzy to open up with as they get settled in to a new venue. Foam starts off fast but eventually smoothes out and gets very dynamic. Sparkle was good and Possum was rocking. I always love a Forbin's with great story, as usual. Mockingbird was a little weak at times. Chalk Dust rocked, Guelah was good, and then Caravan was kind of a surprise to hear again. Don't know what prompted that? Cavern was a little fast and loose to close up a pretty average set.
Trey gets on the acoustic for a good My Friend with a nice creepy ending. Rift's timing is still a little loose, but better. Sloth had some off spots. Pen was pretty solid and then FEFY seemed rusty. Then the Balls come out... Mike's was ok; nothing too great and the jam seemed really disjointed. Hydro was ok, just a few off spots. Weekapaug had a great jam. That was the highlight of the set. HYHU brings Fish out for a nice, funny Brain. Coil seemed rushed and Mike was weak in spots, but there was a great salsa style ending and of course Page brings it, until the recording was rudely cut! Sacrilege! Anyway, not a bad second set.
Mini bust-out with Page ripping into Bold as Love for a great encore. Then everyone gets shushed for an Adeline.
Just average to my ears tonight, Mike was weak and there were rusty parts here and there. Not to say that there aren't some good songs in there. I'm going with three stars to bring the average down a little.
