Review by TheEmu

TheEmu This is a really solid show. It kicks into high gear right out of the gate with Mike having a lot of fun in Funky Bitch, and they follow that up with probably the highlight of the show, a totally smokin' YEM. Very hot! Both Page and Trey are on fire there! There's a decent McGrupp, a strong Possum, and a very strong Antelope to close out the first set. (There's also a fairly shaky Fluffhead, but what the heck). It's fun to hear Trey joking with some people in the crowd during the piano solo in McGrupp. Anyway, the second set is also pretty darn strong, with very nice versions of Walk Away and AC/DC Bag. The highlight of Set II is certainly a totally wailing Slave. The Mike's Groove to close set II is solid, though not jaw-dropping. Maybe I've just been listening to too many average shows, but I'm going 4 stars on this one, as it is pretty strong throughout with several really ripping moments. Enjoy!
