This was the show that got me. I had seen the band a few times with the Joneses, but this time I brought Grateful Dead type party treats and wow, I got it. My girlfriend, Scurbie, had just moved into Slade and the place was full of interesting people who loved to dance! We made and ate dinner before the show, Joe P, Sofi, Pablo, Tim, Dan the RA... and 23 others lived there if my memories are correct. I lived in the Old North End and worked in a drapery shop. It was Fire that night that jolted me in Phish dance mode. Highlights of the night: Marley, always a good dog, the covers, Phish used to cover as many songs as the Grateful Dead (around 25 percent) in particular Corrina, Taj was popular with the Slade crowd, Peaches and Regalia really stands out in my memory and the scream of appreciate from the person who just requested Boogie on Reggae Woman. It was wicked fun.
