This was actually a raggae festival that had several bands preceding Phish. You can see the Jamaican flag that hung from the pavillion above the band in the video.

I spent most of their set just behind and to the right of the center camera angle, up the hill slightly.

There's a great video of this that was shot. I owned the VHS but some jerk stole it from me back in high school. Thanks to modern day technology you can watch it online. WOW I love this one! my dad use to play me this VHS back when I was like 5! the whole show is pretty much standard 1990 phish but its cool to hear these songs played with such a fun whimsical approach.

It's funny what a great recording will do for an otherwise pretty average 1990 show. This show even has the benefit of being captured on video for us all to enjoy. It's very entertaining to *see* the songs being performed, and the video is must watch just to see what our guys looked like when they were younger. They bounce and move around a lot while they play, especially Mike, who looks like he's in the middle of recording a strange taebo video!

The show is totally standard fare. One set, no frills, no major jams, but it is another fun show from the era. Although the YEM was weak, Mike's hat definitely made up for it. Mike Gordon was a true hipster before hipsters.

As for the rest of the show, pretty high energy stuff (especially the Divided Sky!), but a lot of repeats. If you're looking for a show to listen to from this era, this one might be worth your time. It's not the best show from the month, but it's got a video, and that's worth something! 3/5 stars.

Didn't have anything to do tonight so I said why not see if youtube has some good video of an old show and here we are at Woodbury in 1990. Like others have posted the youtube link is awesome! Some great shots and the crowd bobbing and weaving to the tunes is a sight to see!

The a capella Carolina started off the show and the energy came in with Possum and didn't leave until the show was over. Like others have mentioned no jamming or extended songs here, just an upbeat, fun, bouncing around show. Points for Mike's hat and for him jumping around the entire show. Really a treat to watch!

Just saw this video on youtube. I can't keep my eyes off the mullet on the dude wearing a red shirt in the front row, in between Trey and Mike. It's glorious.

This show is fun to watch! There aren't too many videos out there with this much visual focus on the actual playing. There also aren't that many as clear as this one. The pixelation is great - you can see the band clearly, as well as the audience.

Another note, towards the end the camera shows a shot of the audience from the stage and this venue is awesome! There is a huge slope (of course! It's a ski club!) on which people are hanging out. Very scenic.

The Woodbury VHS tape has been in mosts fans collections since before they can remember. The SBD audio is pretty flat and lifeless compared to the crispy audience recording from last nights show at The Strand. Plus, the levels are really hot. Relisten offers an audience recording that isn’t great but isn’t bad either. The audience recording only has audio up to Love You while the video footage has the entire set available.

With that said the show is pretty straightforward for this tour. Highlights include Fluffhead and the first HYHU to follow a Fishman song. Unfortunately, this is cut from both the video and audience recording. Fire fades out during the jam.
