Fee's lyrics were changed to "Mike the chimpanzee" and David Bowie's lyrics were changed to "Ninja Mike, Magoo." The Price of Love was teased after Dog Log. Bowie contained a Dixie tease from Trey and Suzy contained a Low Rider tease. Highway to Hell concluded with screams of "Hail" (or possibly "Hell") and "Satan."

thelot The sound quality leaves a lot to be desired for Night 2, especially following the pristine source tapes available for night 1. The pitch is a bit sharp for set 1 but is correct for set 2. It’s hard to say how many generations are the lineage on this one but it sounds like a lot compared to the recording from the first night. Fortunately the energy of this performance isn’t lost due to quality. With that said, I’m very grateful to have this three night run in circulation! :)

The McGrupp>Who Do? We Do!>Foam>Bag is solid. The transition into Foam is perfecto! Dog Log makes an appearance for the first time since Gallagher’s on 3/1/89, always a welcome treat. The banter to follow is great! Ninja Mike/David Bowie closes out set 1 with a bang. The levels bump up a bit at the start of Bowie.

A nice Mike’s Groove starts off set 2. The levels get bumped up again at the start of Hydrogen. Weekapaug fades out during the ending chorus and leads into Oh Kee Pah. The recording reduces in quality again, similar to set 1. Rippin’ version of Possum tonight! The fourth version of Reba to appear at The Front followed. Trey fumbled some of the lyrics again but not as bad. A nice YEM>Highway to Hell closed out the evening. The ending of Hell gets a little demented with screams of hell and satan. lol

Review by TheEmu

TheEmu Mostly this seems like a pretty average show. I will give some props to the AC/DC Bag, which was pretty sweet. Bowie and YEM are decent, but average. I'd give some more credit to the Mike's Song that's on the recording, but I don't think its from this show...or, at least, whatever show the second set is from. The La Grange, Antelope, and Lizards encore are all also missing from the recording. The Reba is pretty poor, but we'll cut it some slack as I think it's something like the 4th ever version. I could probably go as low as two stars for this, but most of what I heard is pretty decent, so I'll go three.
